Who are we? The Stanley and District Residents Association was formed in 1983 by local residents with the aim of improving both the social and environmental aspects with their community. We are situated in the area of Stanley, which is an area between Fairfield and Old Swan, Liverpool, with approx.1500 homes and a population of around 4000. Our association is a totally voluntary, non - funded, organisation and draws all our volunteer workers from within our community who give both their time and energy to our aims.
Funding is raised with our community through social events, raffles etc. although we have had a number of grants for various activities from The Merseyside Play Action Council, Merseyside Police and High Sheriffs Charitable Trust, The John Moores Foundation and The Neighbourhood Support Fund.
These have assisted our association greatly over the years in our aims of bringing together our community.
